Ian Clendening

Ian Clendening, City of Kingston

For the last eight years I have been grateful for my membership with OACA. This organization is excellent for disseminating to both Committee Members and Staff alike the skills and knowledge necessary to run an effective hearing. Over the last two years I have worked with the Board to continue this important role by facilitating the programming and execution of our Annual Conference and Seminar events as well as the ‘Lunch and Learn’ webinar series which OACA hosted during the height of the COVID-19 restrictions.

I would love to continue serving this organization, especially during these times of constant change in the legislation, case law, and policy which frame our decisions. I look forward to the opportunity to provide our membership with high caliber training and education and to advance the OACA name through our partnerships with AMCTO, OPPI, and other organizations. To this end, I gratefully request your vote in the Board Election and look forward to serving you, and this Board, if I am elected.
