Diane Chase, Wainfleet

I am newly retired but have over 40 years experience as a Law Clerk, and have many years of committee/director experience on the Municipal Court Managers Association, Ontario Municipal Tax & Revenue Association, Municipal Finance Officers Association of Ontario, Provincial Offences Association, Ontario Public School Board Association, Parent Involvement Committee, School Council, Wainfleet Minor Hockey. and Jaycees. I have organized numerous conferences and training sessions, and highly value the opportunities for networking and the knowledge gained by actively being involved in associations. I am eagerly looking forward to sharing my experiences and using my knowledge and skills to assist the Association.

Bio

Diane Chase has lived in Wainfleet with her husband and two dogs for the past 20 years. She has 3 adult children, and 5 grandchildren with 3 more grandchildren arriving this year. She has a lengthy history of volunteering in the community in various roles; School Board Trustee, Chair of School Council of multiple schools, Parent Involvement Committee and Wainfleet Arena Renovations Public Liaison Committee, Secretary and Ice Scheduler of Wainfleet Minor Hockey, and member of Ontario School Board Association, and Niagara College Law Clerk Public Advisory Committee.

Diane has many years of committee/director experience; Municipal Court Managers Association, Ontario Municipal Tax & Revenue Association, Municipal Finance Officers Association of Ontario, Provincial Offences Association, Ontario Public School Board Association, Parent Involvement Committee, School Council, Wainfleet Minor Hockey, and Welland Jaycees. Diane has experience organizing numerous conferences, training sessions and professional development days. 

Diane has 27 years experience as a Law Clerk, and specialized in real estate transactions, contracts and ensuring compliance with legislation. In 2012 she became a
supervisor with Provincial Offences Court where she ensured the efficient operation of multiple courtrooms, prepared and complied with budgets, interviewed, hired and supervised staff, reviewed and improved efficiency, and organized and facilitated training sessions. Diane recently retired, but still likes to read legislation, values organization and clear communication, loves to organize events and is excited about becoming a director of OACA so that she can continue using all her skills and experience for the benefit of this Association.
