Deb McCabeI currently reside in Ramara Township with my hubby of 24 years, Craig McCabe. We have lived at this location for 17 years with the majority of those years raising our two children Karly and Ethan.

I have worked at the Township of Ramara since 2002, starting as Planning Administrator and Secretary Treasurer Committee of Adjustment and now in the position of Planning Supervisor/Zoning Administrator and Secretary Treasurer Committee of Adjustment. Through the years of working at the Township, there have been many opportunities for education and advancement.

I have been an active member of OACA since 2003 and granted an Honorary Membership in 2014, for my contributions to the Association. I sat on the Board from 2008 to 2015 and then again in 2019. I have been an active member of the Canadian Association of Certified Planning Technicians since 2004. In 2013 I completed the Municipal Administration Program (MAP) and received a certificate of completion and recognition. When I am not working, I enjoy travelling which is a passion of mine. I also enjoy spending time in nature, camping and hiking.

I feel my extensive experience within the Association over the years will be an asset to a position on the Board of Directors. With so many new members in the Association, it is imperative that they all have a voice and the Board of Directors are willing to work with them and the direction they want to see their association going.
